BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Akira, the fictitious name behind Eurasia. didn`t make us wait longer than one season (autumn-winter) to listening to the melodies and the ambience of a rural Japan.

Glooming in the Twilight maintains the delicacy of its predecessor and adds some charge more sentimental and melancholy. Sadness, yes. In this Glooming in the Twilight the field-recordings are less (or nothing) noticeable and the piano grabs all the attention from beginning to end. Joy, too.

"The end of the winter" brings the electronic and post-rock in one hand, the other loads the environment and the classic tune that fills the sound and features of Eurasia .. Twilight, completely.

Mimi est un netlabel japonais (que j’ai découvert récemment grâce à la perspicacité de Rajzank et de son adorable petit blog) mais qui existe depuis un bon moment au vu de l’étendue de son catalogue. Au programme de cette première incursion, un EP signé Eurasia où il est question de piano. Et comme souvent chez les japonais (il suffit d’écouter les magnifiques B.O. de Joe Hisaishi pour Kitano ou Miyazaki pour s’en convaincre), les musiques composées et jouée avec cet instrument se révèlent aussi dépouillées que bouleversantes. Et ce ne sont pas ces 4 morceaux, d’une infinie mélancolie et d’une grande pureté, qui rappellent également le travail de Sylvain Chauveau, qui viendront me contredire.
